Daku is an award-winning technical barber and graphic artist in Tokyo, Japan.  He spent several years overseas, studying and working in NYC, honing his skills through various street art projects, graffiti and then back to sneaker design in Tokyo’s Harajuku fashion center.

When big name talent and entertainers pass through Tokyo, occasionally they need a quick line-up or a trim before their performance.  Daku often gets the call for his reputation as one of the best in the city.

Daku is a creative adviser for Japan’s HOPE 81 a non-profit organization with a core group of athletes, artists and activists innovating across borders to help in environmental sustainability, global poverty relief and grassroots basketball player development.
